Horrific botched surgery nearly killed me but now I’ve got the perfect body says Sophie Kasaei | The Sun

GEORDIE Shore's Sophie Kasaei has opened up about how surgery "nearly killed her" as she was left with a "botched body".

The reality TV star – who rose to fame on the MTV series back in 2011 – recently underwent surgery to undo the botched work, gloating that she now has the perfect body.

Geordie Shore favourite Sophie, 32, has admitted to going under the knife a number of times in a bid to get her "perfect" body.

Sadly, it hasn't always gone to plan – with the star opening up that it previously left her "botched" and "covered in scars".

However, Sophie has since revealed that she's happier than ever with her body, getting her "sexy back" after her latest round of surgery.

Speaking to Closer, she explained: "For years, I’ve been conscious of my botched body and my scars from surgery, but now I’m finally happy with the way I look."

Sophie detailed how she was left with a string of health complications and body hang-ups following surgery gone wrong.

She underwent a breast reduction, tummy tuck and Brazilian Bum Lift in a string of surgeries that left her with "scars".

Her BBL – which sees fat sucked from elsewhere in the body and injected into the bottom – was done in a run-down hospital in Turkey.

Comparing her experience to a "horror film", the star suffered from complications after the surgery when she developed an abscess in her leg while holidaying in Mexico with Joel Corry.

"I thought I was going to die," she said of the horror turn of events, which left her with a physical scar and what she believes to be PTSD.

"For months while it healed, I had a hole in my bum, and unfortunately it left a huge scar too which affected my self-esteem, it was an awful time," Sophie went on.

Since then, Sophie has gone under the knife one final time in order to correct all the botched surgeries, and is not a size 6-8, with a noticeably smaller chest after undergoing a reduction.

She also had her behind and hips worked on, as well as the sagging skin on her stomach – finally giving her the body confidence she craved.

"I’m excited to go out there and show off my body!" she concluded. "I want a hot girl summer."

Last year, Sophie opened up about how she regretted having so much lip filler when she was younger – calling it an addiction.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Sophie insisted she had all the filler in her face dissolved, and no longer feels a pressure to look good.

The reality star – who’s starring in Geordie OGs – told us: “When I was younger, I used to overfill my face.

“I used to get lip fillers, cheek fillers, all that.  And when I got a bit older, I got all that dissolved, and just restarted all again.”

Sophie opened up on her own horror procedure, which left her looking like “the elephant man”, when she appeared on Channel 5’s Celebrity Botched Up Bodies, back in 2016.

“At the time I thought I was big and clever and looked amazing but in reality I just looked like elephant man," she joked. "My lips were horrendous and lumpy."
