HAIRY Bikers star Dave Myers has opened up about receiving cancer treatment.
The TV favourite revealed the news in May 2022 and has been updating his fans since.
How is Dave Myers doing?
Dave revealed he was battling cancer on May 6, 2022 , but did not specify which type.
Speaking on his podcast The Hairy Bikers – Agony Uncles, that he does with costar Si King, he told fans he had "been unwell",
However he added that he was "going to be fine" .
Dave told fans he would be having chemo, and joked he "looks good bald".

The Hairy Biker previously opened up about overhauling his lifestyle back in 2018 because he was "morbidly obese".
In 1998 he was diagnosed with a cyst on his brain and in 2018 he revealed he had glaucoma, a serious eye-condition which can lead to a loss of sight.
What has Dave Myers said on his cancer diagnosis?
Speaking on the podcast The Hairy Bikers – Agony Uncles, Dave said: "I've got to come clean now, I haven't been too well recently and basically, I've got to have some chemo, you [Si King] know all this anyway.
"So this year is going to be a bit quiet for me, I'm not going to be filming, some of the festivals I'm not going to be able to go to, some may be OK, but this year's a bit of a write off for us.

"I have had to speak up about this because I don't want to hide under a rock, but I would love it if people respected my privacy and just let me get on with it and give Si and our team all the support they need. That would be great.
"But look, the prognosis is OK. I'm going to be fine."
Si has talked about how his friend and co-star is doing.
Speaking on Wednesday's episode of The One Show, Si said: "It's going really well. He's still in the trenches of his chemo and treatment but all the numbers are going well and he's getting stronger by the day and more positive by the day.
"He's a tough old boot, you know, he's from Barrow in Furness. He's not going to give up easily. He certainly isn't. He's doing great, man. Thank you.
"And all of us, everyone involved with the Bikers, Dave, his wife Lil and the kids, the amount of love that comes over social media is remarkable. It's so appreciated and we loved it; thank you."
Will the Hairy Bikers be on TV in 2022?
Dave will be taking time out in 2022 to focus on getting better.
As mentioned in his podcast, he won't be filming anything for the foreseeable future.
Dave and his Hairy Bikers co-star Si have been a firm fixture on TV since their show launched back in 2006.
