THERE was a time when the public knew every miniscule detail of Taylor Swift’s many A-list relationships.
The 32-year-old singer had a string of short-lived high-profile romances before meeting Joe Alwyn in 2017 – with the longest being just over a year with Calvin Harris.
When she dated Harry Styles for just a month, they were pictured kissing in Times Square on New Year’s Eve and getting in a snowmobile accident – and her two-month relationship with Tom Hiddleston was announced with him wearing an “I Heart T.S” T-shirt.
And Taylor has been very vocal about which of her hit songs are about her numerous exes.
But, since meeting British actor Joe, who still lived in his parent’s home in Crouch End at the time, their relationship has been far more private – and the couple are now engaged.

Pizza Express dates
Taylor and Joe’s worlds couldn’t have been more different when they met at a pre-Oscars party through their mutual friend Emma Stone, who Joe knew through filming The Favourite with her.
She was worth a staggering £282million (now £330.4million) and the proud owner of several luxurious mansions, as well as two private jets, while he was an up-and-coming actor still living at his parents’ house in Crouch End, London.
And, while her previous boyfriend Harry Styles had whisked her away to New York for a very public holiday date over New Year’s Eve 2012, Joe wasted no time in introducing Taylor to a more “normal” UK lifestyle.
The pair enjoyed intimate dates at local parks and even Joe's parents' home.
In fact, one of the pair's first dates was to Pizza Express in Hampstead, followed by Spaniards Inn.

Drives Nissan as a disguise
6Taylor and Tom Hiddleston were only dating for two months in 2017 – but everyone knew immediately, as he wore a T-shirt emblazoned with the words, “I Heart T.S.”
In stark contrast, Taylor wore disguises when she was first out and about with Joe.
She would sport a brunette bobbed wig and have plain-clothes security guards sitting on the next table to the couple as a precaution.
Taylor would also drive through the streets of London unrecognised in their Peugeot car, exploring England and driving down to Brighton’s seafront.
It’s still a trick she uses, as Taylor – who splits her time between London and the States – recently bought a £25,000 Nissan to keep under wraps while travelling through the city.
A source told The Sun: “Taylor loves her new practical car which means she can drive around London without getting spotted.
“She could have any car she wants but knows she won’t draw any attention in her new family motor.”
Cooks Sunday Roast
Taylor became quite the homebody when she first started renting in London with Joe in 2017.
She enjoys cooking for him and other loved ones and has even attempted traditional Sunday roast dinners for his parents.
A source previously shared: "It has been intoxicating for her to have anonymity again as she has been famous since she was 16."
The Grammy-winning artist is so besotted with her new London lifestyle that she even penned a song about it on her album Lover, titled London Boy.
On the track, Taylor sings about how much she enjoys everyday things such as walking around Camden Market, watching rugby in the pub with Joe's friends, and hearing stories about their time in university.
She also boasted about nights out in Brixton, outings to Hackney and Shoreditch, and afternoon tea.
Writing together in lockdown
And she and Joe have now bought a £7 million home in Primrose Hill together – where they spent lockdown together.
While not much is known about their time together during that time, Taylor released a surprise lockdown album Folklore – and fans quickly speculated Joe had written two of the songs on the album, as one of the songwriters Taylor credits is William Bowery, who has no online profile.
Taylor later confirmed her fans were correct and mentioned him in her speech when she won the Grammy award for Best Album.
She said: “I want to thank Joe, who is the first person that I play every single song that I write, and I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine.”
Sneaks in side door
Before she met Joe, Taylor would always pose on the red carpet with her exes, like Calvin Harris and Joe Jonas.
But these days, while she and Joe have attended many of the same events – including the Golden Globes and the Grammys – they always enter separately.

Taylor explained her reasoning for her newfound privacy to Rolling Stone, saying: “'I think that in knowing him and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real life and less like just a storyline to be commented on in tabloids.
“Whether that's deciding where to live, who to hang out with, when to not take a picture — the idea of privacy feels so strange to try to explain, but it's really just trying to find bits of normalcy.”
