Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian was photographed with Italian actor Michele Morrone during Milan Fashion week at a Dolce and Gabbana show and fans were quick to start speculating whether there was a romantic connection between the two.
After the heartbreak Khloe has suffered at the hands of cheating ex Tristan Thompson, those hoping for Khloe's happy ending have been disappointed yet again as 365 Days actor Michele, 31, has shut down rumours that there is any romantic link.
Despite looking very cosy together in a photo posted to Instagram, Michele's representatives have revealed that the pair only got close to take a picture, saying: "Dolce and Gabbana asked them to take a photo at the show. Michele said she was very nice, and that was the extent of it."
Another source also confirmed to the publication that Khloé had "never met the actor before" the Milan Fashion Week. The said: "She just met him in Milan that night. They are not dating. She has no plans to see him again."
Khloe, 38, looked typically stunning in a black catsuit and a diamanté hot pants. She teamed it with a matching corset top and glittering silver handbag.
And fans had been really hoping there was more to the photos with Michele which showed them standing together and Michele's hand round Khloe's waist with one tweeting: "I am late to the party but Michele Morrone and Khloe Kardashian being together really needs to happen."
Another said: "Khloe Kardashian and Michele Morrone are the couple I didn’t know I needed. I'm literally living for this."
A third wrote: "Khloe Kardashian deserves to be Michele Morrone’s babygirl I don’t even care if it was the first time they met, they just look so good together."
The rumours came days after Khloe was seen breaking down in tears as she detailed her shock at discovering Tristan, 31, had fathered a child with another woman while they were expecting their second child via surrogate.
Khloe spoke openly about the "difficult time" in her life as she came to terms with his betrayal and despite looking forward to the new arrival, Khloe seemed heartbroken over the drama with Tristan saying: "It's supposed to be a really exciting time and it's just a different experience."
Following the new series of The Kardashians premiering this week, Khloe says she has been 'overwhelmed' by fans love and support, after talking about ex-Tristan Thompson's paternity scandal.
After the episode, which saw her share the aftermath of ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson's cheating, Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter to share her views.
She said: "I love you! I’m so consumed with overwhelming emotions from reading your tweets and commentary about the premiere episode".
She added: "I have to be honest I was scared to go online but friends and family kept telling me how loving and kind everybody was. I decided to take a look for myself."
During the one hour-long episode, fans saw how Khloe struggled to handle the heartbreaking news that was also expecting a baby with another woman.
