I was on Love Island this series – producers pulled me to complain about ‘offensive’ comments but it wasn't shown on air | The Sun

LOVE Island producers have been accused to interfering with Mitch's disastrous 'roast'.

The 26-year-old left his co-stars in stunned silence as he delivered a series of 'jokes' about the group for the famous talent show challenge.

Now Mitch has claimed Love Island bosses banned his original script – and it had to be changed moments before he performed.

A fan said to him during a Q&A on Instagram: "Please don't roast anyone ever again. The crickets will be having a ball."

Mitch then filmed a video in response to the jibe in an attempt to reveal the truth.

He said: "Just before we were about to start, the producers went through it and said 'this could be offensive, this could be this or that'.

Many fans had threatened to report the show to the TV regulator after claiming Mitch was unfairly targeting Abi.

It comes after fan begged producers to step in after they feared Abi was being "bullied" by Mitchel during the Grafties challenge.

Mitch played Abi and Ella B off each other as he admitted his "head was scrambled" by the bombshell.

When it got back to Abi she refused to take him back – and Mitch ended up missing out on a place in the final with Ella B on his arm.
