Im A Celeb star sneaked diet pills and cigs in her hair amid glam shower scene

I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Catalina Guirado has confessed that she snuck diet pills and cigarettes into the ITV camp back in 2003.

In order to get away with her contraband, Catalina hid the packets in her hair and under her jungle hat.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star about her experiences in the Australian jungle for what was only the show's second ever series, Catalina explained the reason behind the move.

"The diet pills definitely helped with the hunger," Catalina explained.

"We sneaked quite a few things in. I think I wore like seven pairs of underpants or something in there!

"We were all smoking back then, so I put packets of cigarettes in my hair, took them in under the hat.

"I did take diet pills in because I thought, 'I’m gonna be really hungry', so it might actually help me. [My campmates] were asking me for them at the end!"

Catalina added: "I think I took a few before the crocodile [Bushtucker] Trial, but they were just caffeine pills, it was fine. They were quite good to wake you up to do something."

The TFI Friday beauty has since joked about the pills on social media, confessing: "I never looked so good after 2 weeks there! Talk about detox!"

Catalina also confessed that she has a connection to one of the 2022 campmates – Boy George, who she's close friends with.

And despite his controversial past, with Scarlette Douglas quizzing him on his assault and false imprisonment charges which saw him handed a 15-month prison sentence, Catalina says he's "lovely".

She said: "I’ve never had any issues with George, he’s always been lovely and funny and sweet. Yeah, he can be a bit catty but that’s who he is, of course he is.

"I really like Boy George, he’s friends with a lot of my friends. He’s a laugh, and he’s very talented. Obviously I’ve been rooting for him.

"I also really like Mike Tindall. He’s really cool. I think he’s the Phil Tuffnell of this year!"
