I’m A Celebrity viewers seething after Jordan Banjo misses out on win

Fatima takes part in I'm A Celeb South Africa trial

This year, iconic campmates from various different series returned to the jungle one more time to try and be crowned the first I’m A Celeb legend.

ITV viewers saw the likes of Janice Dickinson, Carol Voderman, Helen Flanagan, Paul Burrell, Amir Khan, Jordan Banjo, Phil Tufnell and Shaun Ryder all make a comeback.

However, there were some surprise arrivals along the way including Georgia Toffolo, Andy Whyment, Joe Swash, Gillian McKeith, Myleene Klass and Dean Gaffney.

On Friday night, it was time for the winner to be crowned with it being between Jordan Banjo and Myleene Klass who went went head-to-head in a supercharged eating trial, which Myleene won and viewers were not happy.

Once they’d been shown what food was on offer, they then had to suggest the number of each item they thought they could eat in five minutes.

The celeb that picked the highest number then had to eat that many in the time given. If they succeeded, they won a point.

In the end, it was Myleene who was triumphant after eating the majority of items, including 60 mice tails.

However, it seemed as though many viewers were raging at the decision with many feeling as though Jordan should have walked away the winner.

Sproutjoons said: “Still rooting for Jordan to win I’m sorry, the fact that they’re the final two and he’s still cheering and supporting Myleene through it earns more respect for me than eating 60 mice tails”

Heyitsgem23 added: “Should have been Jordan.”

el_WILLS_ commented: “How has she won when as soon as the trial was over she threw them all backup? Should’ve gone to Jordan that. Fuming with the result ngl.”

Kaitygriff_ tweeted: “Jordan 10000% should have won this mind.”

PastelUnicorn5 said: “Little bit sad that Jordan didn’t win.”

Speaking about his experience on I’m A Celebrity…South Africa, Jordan said: “It was a different level. I had such a better time.

“The first time everyone was lovely but I just don’t think I was quite ready for it. The first few days were a bit of a shock in Australia.

“Whereas this time I went in there just throwing myself head first into trials, challenges, whatever it was. I can’t lie, I had a wicked time.

“But it wasn’t all good. I had to eat penis or whatever it was! But overall, it was a great experience.”
