Inside Lauren Goodger’s daughter LaRose’s emotional first birthday after star is rocked by death of second child | The Sun

LAUREN Goodger put on the perfect birthday party for her oldest daughter LaRose as the tot turned one.

The 35-year-old planned an action packed day for her girl with partner Charles Drury including a visit to a petting zoo and giant balloons at home.

Lauren started by lighting a candle for her daughter Lorena whom she lost earlier this month just days after her birth.

She then spent the evening wrapping presents and arranging balloons to ensure LaRose had the best day – despite the recent tragedy.

They started LaRose's birthday by signing her Happy Birthday in bed, before letting the baby explore their living room and dining room jammed with giant pink balloons.

The foil balloons read 'happy birthday LaRose.'

The doting parents then took LaRose to lunch where Lauren showed off her daughter's gorgeous outfit, complete with a pink bow on her head.

They then went to a petting zoo where they rode a small train together, passing real animals and life size replicas.

LaRose stared on in wonderment before getting excited at the prospect of hand feeding a Highland cow.

The trio then returned home where LaRose got stuck into unwrapping her presents in the dining room as their family filed in to celebrate with a small party.

Other children helped LaRose with the unwrapping and then they enjoyed crawling through a small tunnel she'd received as a gift.

Lauren and Charles put on a brave face to give LaRose the perfect day after their recent family tragedy.

They were left devastated following the death of their daughter at just two days old.

The cause of the child's death has not been disclosed but the star said that "she was fine and healthy".

Earlier this month Lauren uploaded a black-and-white photo of her holding the hand of her child.

She accompanied it with the devastating news of the baby's passing.

She wrote: "Lorena was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen, just like her sister.

"Words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.

"There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine and healthy, but I am not going into detail right now.

"Just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect. I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar."

Later on in the post, she added: "I will never ever get over this, but I will learn how to live every day with Lorena in my heart.

"She will be with me always and I will be with her again one day… My Lorena, I love you so much."
