ITV I’m A Celeb – stars dropped into Aussie outback while others face dreaded skydive

Ten celebrities have embarked on the experience of a lifetime on this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, as three celebrities have now been dropped into the outback, four celebrities have met on the very top of an imposing skyscraper, and three celebrities took on the iconic skydive.

Geordie duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly return as hosts ready to challenge the celebrities to feats of bravery and gory bushtucker trials. The hit ITV show returns to the Australian jungle with a high-profile line-up of contestants, including politician Nigel Farage and Jamie Lynn Spears – sister of pop star Britney.

As viewers prepare for the show's return on Sunday evening, 19 Nov, the celebrities have already had their first taste of what the show has to offer.

In an I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! first, campmates Josie Gibson, Nella Rose and Nigel meet for the very first time as they were dropped into the very heart of the sizzling Australian outback for a brand new set of challenges.

The trio soon learnt that they are desperately needed by their fellow celebrities who are 2000 miles away back on the Gold Coast. Their mission is to win time for their fellow campmates who are taking part in other challenges. The more time they have, the better for all of the campmates.

But when they’re faced with searching through gallons of sticky gunk and scary hell holes in a bid to score tokens for time, will they be able to score enough time for their fellow celebs?

Meanwhile, on the Gold Coast Sam Thompson, Danielle Harold, Fred Sirieix and Grace Dent arrived by helicopter, meeting on the very top of an imposing skyscraper and quickly spotted the challenge that awaited them.

Their challenge is to inch their way sideways along the towering building, before carefully sliding down to a huge horizontal flag pole. There’s no choice but to look down at the terrifying drop beneath them, as they must lie down onto the pole and crawl along. Here, they have to race against the clock to unclip carabiners along the pole to release their star-print flag.

That left Jamie Lynn, Nick Pickard and Marvin Humes who entered vie the iconic skydive, which is bad news for Marvin, who has already professed his fear of heights.

After dropping into the jungle there’s no rest time for these campmates as they find out they’re heading straight into action with a Trial, too.

One of the exciting new changes to the 2023 series of m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! includes a special feature length episode which will make the first episode of the show 105 minutes long.
