The Chase was thrown into chaos on Wednesday (April 5) after host Bradley Walsh stormed off following a player’s blunder.
The hit ITV gameshow was back on TV screens as the Corrie star welcomed four new quizzers onto the show looking to bag some serious cash
As fans tuned in for the primetime programme, the former Corrie star introduced contestants Matthew, Ed, Kirsten and Jane before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week the quartet were up against Darragh Ennis who made sure to bring his A-game against the wise quizzers.
However, when it was Jane’s turn to attempt to bag some serious cash things took a rather awkward turn.
Jane earned an impressive £7,000 in the cash builder, and soon it was her time to take on The Menace.
Bradley asked Jane: "The term 'suave' comes from a Latin word with what meaning?”
The options were sweet, sour or salty.
However, player Jane chose the wrong answer by picking sour, leaving the host with his jaw on the floor.
“It's a Latin word that means sweet,” Bradley quipped.
Raising his hands in the air, he walked away from the table while shaking his head.
“This is tough to take after all that work,” he added before explaining the answer.
Ultimately Jane was caught by The Menace and was booted from the gameshow.
Elsewhere in the episode, Ed was unfortunate in the cash builder round and only managed to get three questions right.
Going into the head-to-head with £3,000, Ed appeared optimistic but was ultimately caught by Darragh too.
Kirsten got caught as well, leaving Matthew the only one left to head to the final. But unfortunately, he was eliminated as well.
