Jane McDonald steps back from beloved travel shows as she admits 'I've got too much on' | The Sun

JANE McDonald has revealed she is stepping back from working on travel shows because life has gotten too busy.

The beloved singer and TV presenter opened up to Denise Welch on Loose Women earlier this week about the reasons behind her career break.

The 60-year-old's most recent Channel 5 series, Cruising with Jane McDonald: Lost in Japan, aired this September.

Viewers were left shocked as Jane let out her wild side during the show, going skinny dipping on Mount Fuji and winning a sumo wrestling match in a specialty restaurant.

Jane loved the opportunity to have these life-changing experiences, and told Denise: "You don't just go to Japan you're experience it and I did have the most… and everything works in Japan. Things are on time, and everything works.

"It's one of the best things I've ever done. It's just really a great pleasure to be able to do all of this amazing travel."

But now the telly personality is ready to hang up the gloves for a bit and spend time at home with her family.

When the Loose Women legend asked if Jane would rather be in Wakefield with a cup of tea, she responded: "Doritos and some garlic dip, that's me.

"But no I have been so grateful to have done this amazing show and become a bit of a travel guru…a bit of a travel influencer.

"I am going to be sitting down for a little bit. I'm not going to be travelling for a short while now.
