Joan Collins appearance leaves GMB viewers incredibly distracted

Joan Collins promises ‘naughty’ plans at King Charles’ Coronation ‘you wouldn’t expect’

Dame Joan Collins was invited onto the latest instalment of Good Morning Britain to talk about King Charles III’s Coronation which is taking place tomorrow (Saturday, May 6).

The 89-year-old actress wore her signature smokey eye makeup and pink lipstick, and her black hair was full of volume as it sat below her shoulders.

The star wore a white dress covered with poppies which she paired with diamond earrings.

She teased hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard about what’s in store for this weekend’s Coronation celebrations.

Joan also reflected on the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation in 1953 which she remembers well.

However, as she was speaking Good Morning Britain viewers flocked to Twitter to comment on Joan’s age-defying appearance.

Michael Marshall penned: “#Gmb Joan Collins bless her doing her tv rounds to stay in the limelight at nearly 90.” (sic)

Sally Price remarked: “Dame Joan Collins, looking beautiful, lovely lady Xx #GMB.”

Sharon wrote: “Joan Collins – always makes an effort [star emoji] #gmb.”

Lisa Wilkinson-Shaw gushed: “@GMB how fantastic does Joan Collins look at 89 years young?”

Mark added: “Joan’s looking good in her 90th year. #gmb.”

During the interview on the ITV news programme, Joan shared how “charming” King Charles was when he presented her with her Damehood almost a decade ago.

“You know he has the most fantastic voice it’s very mellifluous and very sort of deep,” she said as he deepened her voice to impersonate the monarch.

“I’d met him a few times, in fact, he wrote about me in his book,” Joan added. “I can’t say what it is on morning TV, it’s a bit naughty.

“But somebody wrote about it in the papers today, some person said, ‘Oh they have written about you and [King] Charles in the papers when you met and you were wearing that very low cut dress.’

“I admit I was, but I think he is going to be a great king. He’s certainly rehearsed enough.”

Good Morning Britain will air a Coronation special tomorrow (Saturday, May 6) between 6am and 9am.
