Jonathan Ross made a cheeky joke about Matt Hancock 's past affair merely minutes into his ITV show.

The Jonathan Ross show returned to screens on Saturday (November 5) and the 61-year-old host immediately mentioned the upcoming serious of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! which is returning to screens on Sunday night (November 6).

Chatting about this years campmates, it wasn't long before he got stuck in to "the contestant we are most looking forward to" and mentioned the former Health Secretary.

He told the audience: "Matt's going into the bush… which is what I think got him in to trouble last time," before sharing the infamous photo of the politician kissing Gina Coladangelo during the pandemic.

Appearing on the show were father-son duo Harry and Jamie Redknapp, with Harry reflecting on his I'm A Celeb stint in 2018.

The 75-year-old was crowned king of the jungle which prompted Jamie, 49, to admit he would never go on the show because he couldn't live up to his dad.

The former footballer did reveal that he believed the best time to go on the show would be this year as Matt Hancock is guaranteed to be given every bush tucker trial.

The 44-year-old sparked public outrage after signing up and has now been suspended as a Tory MP because of it.

Those in the public eye have also had plenty to say, including Lorraine Kelly who slammed his "daft" reasoning for being exempt from certain challenges in the jungle.

The former Conservative party member has trench foot after an incident on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which could mean that he will not take part in any trials to do with water.

After calling it "daft," she added: "Well, there's no point him being there, really, let's be honest, if he's not going to do them. How bizarre? I didn't know he did that SAS thing, so this isn't the first reality show that he has done? How extraordinary."

The politician will be entering the jungle alongside the likes of Love Island star Olivia Attwood, Radio DJ Chris Moyles and England Lioness Jill Scott.
