Kardashian fans slam Kim’s new comments about climate change as ‘tone-deaf’ after she’s ripped for her $150M private jet | The Sun

KIM Kardashian is being roasted by fans after her seemingly dismissive comments about climate change in a new interview.

This as the reality star continues to zoom across the globe in her gas guzzling private jet, and has been penalized for wasting water during a state-wide drought.

The Kardashians star has previously been ripped for splashing an astonishing $150 million for her private jet.

Kim, 41, has been slammed as one of the worst air polluters as she made four flights under 20 minutes in the past two months in the behemoth jet.

Yet, when asked recently by Interview magazine for her thoughts on global warming, she appeared to brush it aside.

"I believe in climate change, and I believe that anything can help." she replied. "But I also believe in being realistic and I think sometimes there’s so much to worry about on this planet, and it can be really scary to live your life with anxiety.

Kim said she does have friend who are heavily involved in the climate change debate, and tries to learn from them.

But don't look to her for inspiration.

"I do what I can, but you have to pick and choose what really works for you in your life.

"No one’s going to be 100 percent perfect."

FANS GET HEATED

That ignited the Internet, with many followers saying the millionaire model needs to do more.

"Spoken like someone who owns a private jet and 100% believes that specific luxury is more important than I don’t know… protecting the literal earth," one person commented.

Another added: "She basically said I know climate change exists, but I don't care."

Many fans called out her total lack of empathy, when she is in a position to do so more.

"What’s sad is she has so much influence,, and can make a bigger change than she thinks, but she has no interest or desire to," one fan added.

"Does she not think about how climate change will heavily impact her young children as they get older??" another asked.

"'You have to pick what works for you'” lol," another laughed. "It’s our planet, not a yoga routine."

And still one fan called out Kim saying she's not even doing the bare minimum.

"Literally, this would be the correct answer from your average person. Kim absolutely does not 'do what I can' when she owns a private jet, has masses amount of influence but barely speaks on climate change, could use her lawyer skills to help represent climate activists in court, go vegan and promote a vegan lifestyle, and maybe not have a brand that partakes in fast fashion lmao.

"Honestly the things she could do that could actually make a change would be incredible considering she’s a billionaire and a very well known celebrity."

WATER WOES

The criticism isn't limited only to her private jet.

Kim, and her famous family members, has been fined for wasting water amid a drought in LA.

The SKKN's founder previously received notices from the board to cut back on her water usage which, according to the LA times, was around 232,000 gallons more than her allowed budget in June.

Kim’s main property spans more than 15,000 square feet and features a massive swimming pool and immaculate grounds.

She recently posted a photo of what fans believe is her lush green grass amid the severe drought.

And according to one local news report, Kim's $8 million Calabasas home used 245% of its allotted water budget in May.

That was the fourth month it went over budget since severe drought restrictions were put in place in December.
