Ruby Wax has revealed she loved Life Stories host Kate Garraway so much that she didn’t even know what she was saying during their chat.
Good Morning Britain star Kate recently interviewed the comedian for her show, with Ruby sharing details of her career and her difficult childhood.
Ruby, 70, was full of praise for Kate as she appeared on ITV’s Lorraine, saying she “loved” her.

And she shared that Kate was so brilliant at her job that she got distracted.
Lorraine host Ranvir Singh asked the star what the reaction to Life Stories had been.
But Ruby replied: "I don't know.
“I mean, I loved her, that's all I cared about!
"She is so good, I don’t really know what I said.
"It was like meeting a girl friend."
During the episode of Life Stories, Ruby said that her childhood was a “lock-in” and that she watched from her window longingly as other children played with their parents in the park.
The star’s parents had moved to America from Austria and Ruby said “they took the war from Europe and brought it to the kitchen”.
Kate didn’t just wow Ruby, but also viewers who said she did a great job.
“What an excellent show, well done Kate,” one commented on Instagram after the programme aired.
Another called it a “brilliant” interview.
“Kate’s interview style is like no other,” said someone else.
“Always friendly, empathetic and genuinely interested while remaining to the point and keeping the conversation flowing, perfect broadcaster for this show.”
