KATIE Price has opened up about how she picked her unusual names for her children.
The 44-year-old admitted she rowed with ex-husband Peter Andre a lot when it came to choosing Junior and Princess’ monikers as they struggled to see eye to eye.
Katie is also mum to Harvey, 20, with footballer Dwight Yorke and Bunny, eight, and Jett, nine – who she shares with her ex Kieran Hayler.
Speaking to her sister Sophie on their podcast, Katie explained the lovely reasons behind the choices: “Well if you think of all my kids names, they are American.
“Harvey’s name is very American, because I named him after our granddad, who is American. I have got Canadian in me, Spanish, Italian and English.
“So yes, if I was a dog I would be a mongrel not a pedigree. But that is where the name Harvey comes from.

“The name Jett is also an American name and the only other person I know with that name as John Travolta’s son Jett and I remember liking it.”
But it wasn't as straight forward when it came to Junior, as Pete wanted to follow Greek tradition.
Katie continued: “Junior is quite an American name and my granddad’s brother was called Junior but the reason I named him Junior was a mini Pete because I didn’t want to name Junior Savvas because that is what Pete’s dad is called and I am not Greek, so I made it clear that I didn’t want to follow the Greek tradition.
“There was lots of arguments about it but anyway we came up with Junior.”

Katie added: “So when it was Princess, she was my little girl, third time lucky I got a girl. So I liked the names, Princess, Duchess, Beauty, Royalty. If I ever had more kids and they were girls, I just like those names. I like the name Bunny because it’s quite old fashioned but it’s cute.”
Katie was married to Pete from 2005 until 2009 and co-parent their 18-year-old son and daughter, 16.
The star is now in an on/off relationship with Carl Woods and has spoken about wanting to become a mum again on numerous occasions.
