Keanu Reeves is on a terrifying rampage in explosive John Wick 4 trailer

Nothing is more popular than an animal on the internet, so when Keanu Reeves went on a bloodthirsty quest to avenge his dog in action movie John Wick, it was clear that wouldn’t be the end of it.

Capturing the hearts of pooch fans and film lovers everywhere, there are now three installments in the franchise, with a fourth one due to premiere next year.

Viewers have already been losing it in anticipation for John Wick 4, which also stars popstar Rina Sawayama, and now there’s a whole lot more to get excited about.

The first trailer on the second day of San Diego Comic-Con, revealed by Keanu, 57, and director Chad Stahelski.

In the nail-biting teaser, The Matrix actor is up to business as usual, fending off bad guys in a series of well-choreographed action sequences.

The one-minute-long clip follows John as he throws punches in an art gallery, receives a painful blow to the face in a club and clutches onto a car bonnet in a high-speed race.


A voiceover asks John: ‘Have you given any thought to how this ends? No one, not even you, can kill everyone.’

Plot details for the new film are being kept under wraps, but the previous hyper-violent movies follow the eponymous hero assassin as he attempts to take revenge on those who have wronged him.



Laurence Fishburne is reprising his role as the Bowery King, along with Ian McShane as Winston and Lance Reddick as Charon.

New cast member, Rina, who is making her acting debut, spoke to the Metro.co.uk about her experiences on set – and heaped praised on Keanu.

‘Keanu is as lovely as everyone thinks he is. He’s just the most gorgeous, humble [person]. So sweet, super lovely, just looks after everyone around him,’ she said.

John Wick 4 is due to be released on March 24 2023.
