Not all heroes wear capes – some don pink tassles as they ride to the rescue and Aadi Alahan’s (Adam Hussain) game is strong as he makes a glam arrival at a disaster for Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson).
New Coronation Street pictures show him flying to the scene on the Aad-mobile, a pink child’s bike that he probably should have grown out of.
Luckily, while filming on location, the Corrie team put safety first as actor Adam wore a helmet to avoid any accidents.
But Kelly isn’t so lucky as an unfortunate minor crash appears to leave her stranded.
Over to Aadi who arrives to help her but pictures show them both looking confused and frustrated.
However, it’s no secret that Aadi is carrying a torch for Kelly; could his heroic campaign to clear the roads of clipped cars win him his damsel in distress?
Kelly has endured a lot recently; she was jailed for the murder of her late friend Seb and, after returning, she spiralled out of control, ending up on the streets and relying on drugs.
She has since turned things around but was rocked by the death of former guardian Imran Habeeb.
And she still doesn’t know the truth about gangster dad Rick’s death – that her current father figure Gary Windass (Mikey Neelan) was the one who killed him and buried the body.
A lot going on; so the last thing she needs right now is car troubles.
Millie recently won Best Young Performer at this year’s British Soap Awards, some welcome kudos for her scenes over the last year.
But the actress has further ambitions for her alter ego, as she joked to Metro.co.uk that she and co-star Bill Fellows, who plays Kelly’s friend Stu, could become assassins in the show.

Look, we rule nothing out in Coronation Street.
If the next pictures we bring is Millie in disguise a la Villanelle, then she can hit you all with as many ‘told you so’s’ as she pleases.
As for Aadi, he himself recently recovered from a much more serious car crash, as he was involved in a huge impact with his family during a storm.
In fact, he only just made it out alive as it exploded.
The stunt team aren’t throwing the same budget at this minor bump, so have no fear about their safety.
It remains to be seen what may come from this situation but Aadi has harboured feelings for a long time.
And he’s a loving soul, is our Adz.
Recently, he pledged to take the fall for long suffering Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) after she was caught cheating on her exams with note cards.
To the horror of his dad Dev (Jimmi Harkishin), Aadi claimed that the cheat sheets were his and was even ready to sacrifice his further education for Summer.
Luckily, Summer’s conscience led to her confessing the truth but whether in an exam room or on a bink tasseled bike, he is Corrie’s resident superhero.
These scenes will air later in the summer.
