Kim Tate (Claire King) made a shock exit from Emmerdale in recent scenes amid Caleb Milligan’s (Will Ash) sinister plot to take her down.
Caleb’s true intentions were exposed recently as he was revealed to be the son of Frank Tate, and eager to reclaim what is rightfully his.
In recent scenes, he decided to take things a step further by calling in some help.
Having already received a letter stating that a mystery benefactor wanted a cut of Frank’s inheritance, Kim was concerned to have received another promising that things would become ‘difficult’ if she didn’t settle.
As she dwelled over her options, she received a call from her contact in Dubai, asking if she was experiencing financial difficulties, revealing to Will (Dean Andrews) that someone had tipped them off about her current situation.
Caleb’s plan continued to fall into place as he questioned her about the stud farm, making it clear that he thought getting involved with her was a mistake.
Reluctantly, Will asked what he would do in this situation, which gave Caleb the perfect opportunity to get Kim out of the picture.
As he suggested that she go over to Dubai and prove that everything was going well, she realised that she didn’t have many other options and decided to make the trip.
With her bags packed, she informed Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) that Will and Caleb would be in charge of The Hop and Home Farm Estate, leaving Gabby frustrated.
Though Kim had assured her that it would be Will overseeing The Hop, Gabby was dismayed to find Caleb taking control.
Following a disagreement between the pair, Gabby confided in fiancé Nicky (Lewis Cope) that she believed that once Caleb had his claws in he would never let go, completely unaware of the fact that the nanny was in on Caleb’s plan.
With Kim out of the picture and Caleb perfectly primed to take control, is Gabby right to be worried?
Have Caleb and Nicky succeeded in their plan?
