LAURA Anderson's ex Dane Bowers has shared a gushing tribute to his new girlfriend – including a subtle swipe at the Love Island star.

The Another Level singer, 43, and Love Island's Laura, 33, were together for five years and were even trying for a baby before splitting in 2022.

Now Dane has opened up about his new relationship and insisted he's the "happiest he's ever been" with stunning blonde Jenni Scott.

In a post on Instagram, he said: "Soppy, deep message time! 😂

"Sometimes timing is everything. At 43 years of age it could perhaps feels strange to say this is the happiest I’ve been. But I am…

"It takes experience, life lessons and failures to show you what REAL happiness is.

"It takes a surprise and a magical moment to kickstart your brain and your heart into realizing what you’ve always really needed. It takes someone to pay attention and listen.

"To react and show you you’re worth it. When that all happens naturally without any real effort then THAT'S the moment. THAT'S the time to give it everything. Absolutely everything."

Dane finished: "And that’s what you deserve. And That’s why I won’t let you slip away."

Just three months after splitting from Dane, Laura met Gary Lucy while filming Celebs Go Dating.
