Emmerdale's Laurel Thomas resorts to violence in a bid to free herself from crazy Colin Hamston, the show's spoilers have revealed. On Tuesday, viewers watched as Colin kidnapped Laurel and stopped her from going to India to be with her husband Jai.
As the situation continues, in Wednesday's episode, Colin's unstable behaviour escalates as Laurel tries to get herself out of the situation. Negotiations, prayers and a desperate plan unfold from Laurel as she wants to escape from his evil plan. She manages to hit Colin over the head leaving him on the floor, and she tries to escape.
However, as she tries to dash for the door at Colin's house, she is left stuck as the doors are locked, and she is locked in. Will Laurel be able to make it out before Colin realises what she has done?
As Laurel remains in Colin's grasp worry starts to spread about her whereabouts amongst her loved ones. Nicola King, Jai Sharma and Suni Sharma all start to become concerned about what may have happened to Laurel.
Elsewhere in the village, it is time for desperate measures for Dan Spencer, who is facing time in prison for manslaughter. During Wednesday's episode, he corners village bad boy Cain Dingle and asks for his help to flee the country.
Cain tells him that he will help him, and Dan soon returns to tell his daughter Amelia that their plan can go ahead. However, he does remind Amelia that she can't tell anyone what they are doing, including her boyfriend, Noah Dingle.
Amelia is scared about what they are going to do but she is also determined to go through with the plan to keep her family together.
As the episode continues, everything becomes very real for Dan and Amelia as Cain steps up his plan. He gives the pair ferry tickets, an old car and a burner phone for their escape to Ireland.
Elsewhere in the village, Nate Robinson warns his new boss Corey, of Caleb Milligan's suspicions in an attempt to get out of a dodgy job with Harry. However, Corey threatens that getting on the wrong side of Harry would be even worse for them.
Nate's wife Tracy' is unaware of the dodgy deals going on at the cab firm, and she is just pleased that he is getting on well with his new job. Will the dodgy ideals stay a secret for good?
