Loose Women star Denise Welch left her co-stars and the audience stunned after she made a brutal dig towards Ruth Langsford.
Ruth, 63, and Denise were joined by Brenda Edwards and Gloria Hunniford for a special bank holiday episode of the ITV programme which lasted for an extra 15 minutes than usual.

During the first episode of the week (May 1), the panel played a game of name the famous landmark in the UK.
When it came to Ruth's turn, she correctly guessed Blackpool Tower when the tourist attraction appeared on the screen.
Immediately after, Denise, 64, said: "Yes indeed, you went there with Strictly. Oh no you didn't, sorry."
The audience erupted as they gasped in shock.
The former Waterloo Road actress couldn't contain her laughter, while Brenda struggled to lift her jaw off the floor after the brutal swipe.
"Wow," simply responded the ex-This Morning presenter. "Like a dagger in my heart!"
Denise then insisted someone from the crew made her say the comment.
"Ruth," exclaimed the former Corrie star as she held her ear piece, adding: "Matty Jamieson our producer told me to say that!"
Ruth admitted she saw the joke coming a mile off as she responded: "As soon as I saw Blackpool Tower I thought, 'Here comes the joke'.
"This is what I have to put up with. I could be having a barbeque in my back garden, I don't need to be here."
Ruth appeared on the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.
The TV presenter was partnered with Anton du Beke and finished in ninth place.
