‘Love Island boys won’t speak in real world’ amid feud, claims body language expert

The Love Island boys won’t speak to each other outside of the villa in the real world, a body language expert has claimed.

After weeks of bliss, friendships between this year’s host of male contestants began to break down following the explosive Casa Amor segment.

Tensions rose even more during recent challenges, with footballer Tom Clare clashing with his mates after sports day and Ron Hall declaring war after his one-time friends called out his “game plan” with Lana Jenkins.

With the final right around the corner, fans are starting to see how the relationships could fare in the real world, with many ITV viewers branding behaviour towards Ron “cold.”

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Shaq is cold. It might be a reach but I think his pushed for a divide with the boys and Ron. Good on Kai for not complying."

"At what point did the separation between the boys happen? Because we saw it with Shaq but the rest of them??? Ron basically doesn’t have any boys in the house," a second said.

A third added: "It broke my heart when the boys were all talking about how they’ve had the best time and they made brothers for life and then looking at Ron 🙁 why did they exclude him so much."

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, body language expert Inbaal Honigman explained that the lads have “very different personalities”, which have become clearer in recent episodes.

"Even though people with different traits can be friends, in the case of the Love Island boys, they might just be too different to get on,” she explained, labelling Casey passive and claiming Ron can be aggressive, while Tom is introverted and Shaq is extroverted.

"They're diametric opposites, and therefore those guys won't seek each other out in the real world – they won't even be going to the same parties,” she added. "There is no question about whether they like or dislike each other – they wouldn't even be talking to one another if they weren't on the same show together.”

Only time will tell if Inbaal is correct, though fans might be treated to an answer fairly soon following the dumping of Casey O’Gorman earlier in the week with Rosie Seabrook.

After her dumping, Rosie admitted to feeling guilty over the “love triangle” she was involved in with Casey and his ex-flame, Claudia Fogarty.

“Once Casey made his decision I felt relieved and it was nice that my feelings were reciprocated. But I also felt guilt for Claudia,” she explained. “I got on with her really well and on the outside I definitely am a girls’ girl. I considered her feelings as well as mine."

On the future of her relationship with Casey, the Buckinghamshire local said: “Casey and I have both said that we’re so excited to meet each other's friends and families, we’re excited to do cute date nights and things you’d normally do.

“We’ve built such a strong connection in the Villa, so I’m excited to see what happens when we’re back home.”

Similarly, financial advisor Casey opened up in his exit interview and admitted to feeling guilty over the love triangle.

He said: “Look, it’s horrible. I know more than anyone what it’s like to be in a triangle situation from when I first arrived and was with Lana. I was really happy with Claudia. I felt it was going so well. But I was never closed off, I never misled Claudia.”

“So when Rosie came in, there was that spark that I maybe didn’t have with Claudia. I just wanted to explore whether the personality matched up to my initial attraction.

"I had to give it two or three days to make that decision. So for me, I had to be selfish. I went with who I could see a future with and for me that was Rosie.

"I hated to see Claudia upset as I really did care for the girl. But I came into this wanting to find someone and I feel like I have found that within Rosie.”
