Love Island chaos as Kady McDermott makes unexpected announcement

Love Island: Ella and Tyrique clash in front of other islanders

Kady McDermott was recently told by Molly Marsh that she and Zachariah Noble had closed things off, with Kady tonight outing their news tonight.

In a teaser for the upcoming episode of Love Island, the Islanders gather in the garden to do their obligatory toast for the evening ahead.

Taking the lead on tonight’s toast, Kady lifts her glass and says: “Well, let’s cheers to an eventful day, a good day, great people.”

“Honest opinions and maybe not-so-honest opinions, let’s have a good night. Also, congrats to Zach and Molly to being officially closed off,” she added leaving the rest of the villa stunned.

Her speech catches Zachariah off guard and as he moves away from the table, he sarcastically says: “Wow, what a cheers…I ain’t even cheersing to that.”

Unaware of this news, Mitchel Taylor adds: “What? You didn’t tell us about that!” with the rest of the Islanders being just as confused.

As the evening gets off to a very awkward start, how will the rest of the night unfold for the Islanders?

Will Molly pull Kady for a chat to discuss why she felt the need to out their news?

The drama continues throughout the night as Mitchel confronts Abi Moores after feeling disrespected over the amount of time she has spent speaking to Scott van der Sluis.

Mitchel tells her: “I wanted to talk to you all night tonight and we spoke for about ten minutes. Obviously, I’m not going to interrupt a chat and by all means, get to know Scott but I just feel like there is a level of respect to that and you didn’t give me any…”

Abi replies: “It was a good chat and I’m going to tell you, I’m not going to lie to you,” leaving Mitchel to quip back: “I know it was a good chat, you spent all night with him.”

The Islanders are also met with an unexpected text, leaving Ella Thomas to read: “Islanders, the public have been voting for the most compatible couple…”

Shortly after the Islanders receive another message, as Whitney Adebayo opens the text she shouts: “No, no, no…”
