Love island ‘all kicking off’ as Zac kisses Molly
During the first episode of Love Island, Zachariah Noble was brought in to cause a stir with the newly formed couples.
After 24 hours he decided to couple up with Catherine Agbaje after forming an instant connection with her, leaving Andre Furtado single and vulnerable.
During last night’s episode, Andre went on his first date with second bombshell Whitney Adebayo and finally things looked positive for the Islander.
Later returning to the villa, Whitney made her way around to get to know her fellow Islanders, but viewers were quick to notice that Mehdi Edno appeared to be missing from the episode.
Taking to their Twitter, user @amma_xo asked: “Is Medhi even in this episode?”
@Kara_Danvers17 commented: “Wait I forgot that Medhi was even in the villa for a second. #LoveIsland.”
@Cassy_UF noted: “In all honesty yea I think Medhi should go home because clearly he’s just in that villa to be looking like furniture.”

However, in the second half of the show, the star finally received some airtime with Twitter user @char1i3___ celebrating: “Mehdi finally getting screen time #LoveIsland.” (sic)
Sitting down with Whitney and taking his chance to get to know Whitney, and told her: “To be honest, I love a boss lady, good sense of humour.
“Brunette, dark eyes, confidence,” before she interrupted and exclaimed: “Well this is a wig so I’m not sure what you’re looking for.”
Going along with the joke, Mehdi teased: “You can have it on, don’t have it on I don’t give a f**k,” before asking: “What do you like about me?”
Awkwardly, Whitney paused before she said: “I think it’ll be your eyes as well, you have got really deep eyes.”
Speaking about their chat in the Beach Hut, Mehdi optimistically reported: “I have a chat with Whitney, I think she is very nice.
“I think she is a cool girl, a nice personality. She is a boss lady which I like and I would like to get to know her a little bit.”
Love Island airs weeknights from 9pm on ITV2.
