Love Island fans heartbroken for Shaq as Tanya couples with Martin after Casa Amor

Fans of Love Island have been left heartbroken after Tanya Manhenga chose to recouple with new bombshell, Martin Akinola, as the Casa Amor section of the show came to a close, leaving Shaq Muhammad devastated.

The Casa Amor section of the show is known for putting existing relationships to the test, as 12 new bombshells enter the two villas, and it has certainly seen some new and unexpected pairings as the boys and girls got to know each other.

And it was bad news for Shaq on Thursday, as he chose to "stick" with Tanya after sleeping on the day bed and refraining from getting to know any of the new female bombshells after they entered the villa.

Tanya, however, strolled out of the doors with her new love interest, Martin, who she's been getting very close to during her time in the separate villa.

Speaking of how Shaq had waited for her, Tanya said: "I'm not surprised because me and Shaq had something amazing."

Shaq was gutted as he realised his fate as a singleton in the villa, as he spoke about confessing his love for Tanya, which he said he wouldn't have done had he not had strong feelings for her.

When asked by show host Maya Jama what he thought, Shaq said: "I'm a bit lost for words, to be honest.

"I think, I've been honest with my feelings since day one. I actually meant it when I said 'I love you', but I guess not everyone means it when they say something. So, it is what it is."

Tanya, in turn, went along the lines of "whatever is meant to be, will be," but Shaq announced that was not how he felt, as he said it was the "end of the line".

Viewers of the show took to Twitter to express their heartbreak for Shaq, as one wrote: "My heart is breaking for shaq #loveisland."

Another said: "My heart is absolutely BROKEN for shaq, jessie Samie and Cynthia. I can’t. #loveisland."

A third tweeted: "My heart's breaking for Shaq he didn't deserve that #loveisland" with heartbroken emojis.

While a fourth said: "My heart is breaking for Shaq right now. I hope he keeps strong and doesn’t go back. He is a true gentleman #loveisland."
