Love Island fans have been left in hysterics after Whitney Adebayo struggled to pronounce 'fromage' (the French word for cheese) during her date with Frenchman, Mehdi Edno.
The pair were selected by producers to go on their first date, as they rode a duo bike and then enjoyed a picnic together.
But things took a funny turn, when Mehdi said 'fromage' to Whitney, with her staring blankly at him, and asked him what it was.
When he informed her it meant cheese in French, he repeated the word, and Whitney struggled to pronounce it back, although she appeared to be trying to style it out.
Show fans were in hysterics as they took to Twitter to comment in their droves, as one said: "Not Whitney saying homaze instead of fromage #loveisland."
Another tweeted: "Medhi: fromage Whitney: From-mars," with a Gif of Ryan Gosling laughing.
A third wrote: "Medhi: Fromage Whitney (confidently): Ho-marrse #LoveIsland," whilst a fourth wrote: "Whitney not being able to say fromage is madness #LoveIsland."
A tense recoupling took place on the show tonight, as new girls Charlotte and Leah were told to choose any boy to couple up with – choosing Tyrique and Zach – potentially the most controversial choices.
The boys were then told to choose a girl to couple up with, and and Mehdi stayed faithful to Whitney as he said he wanted to get to know her more.
