Love Island star Ekin-Su in 'terrifying' flight drama as plane's engine 'explodes' and forced to make emergency landing | The Sun

LOVE Island's Ekin-Su has told of her fear on a "terrifying" flight home after the plane's engine "exploded four times".

The reality star's jet travelled 421 miles in the opposite direction to make an emergency landing after "sparks and flames" broke out en route to Manchester.



Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was returning from a holiday in Bodrum with her ex Davide Sanclimenti after rekindling their romance.

She sent fans a message about her dramatic experience on-board as the plane diverted to Antalya.

"Nightmare experience," she tweeted, tagging the airline, Jet2.com.

"The flight from Bodrum to Manchester the engine on the left exploded 4 times flames and sparks."

She added: "[It was like] something from a movie.

"Emergency landed in Antalya. Most terrifying experience ever!

"Still worried about if we will make it safe."

According to Jet2.Com's travel information, flight LS984 was diverted to Antalya, landing at 02.15am.

Ekin-Su and Davide confirmed they're back together – months after a sudden split.

Davide whisked Turkish beauty Ekin-Su on holiday to Bodrum where they've been relaxing in a luxury hotel.

The couple shared snaps of them sunbathing on a daybed as they reminised about their time on Love Island.

They won the show last summer after viewers' fell in love with their passionate on/off relationship.

Fans rushed to comfort Ekin-Su after she tweeted from onboard the flight.

The Sun has reached out for comment.
