Love Island Wills accent changes as he fumes over moving like a snake behaviour

Love Island's Will Young was left fuming in Tuesday night's episode of the show, as he found out what his fellow Islanders had been saying behind his partner Jessie Wynter's back.

Will is known for being the joker of the group with his funny impressions and thick accent, but that all seemed to melt away as he got angry during a chat about Jessie – and it didn't go unnoticed by fans of the show.

For the first time, viewers saw Will's happy-go-lucky persona slide off, as he adopted a serious expression and a London accent that was very different from his usual Berkshire one, as he slammed some of the Islanders for "moving like snakes".

One person wrote on Twitter: "Will downloaded a whole new accent? Tf looooool #loveisland," whilst another wrote: "Anger made will download a new accent."

A third tweeted: "Why’s he putting on an accent. Will is the cringiest guy ever."

A fourth said: "Will what is this accent you’ve suddenly formed? #loveisland" and a fifth reiterated their shock as they tweeted in all capitals: "WHEN DID WILL THE FARMER DEVELOP A LONDON ACCENT?????????"

Tension had been brewing in the villa after Jessie pulled Casey for a chat over his treatment of Claudia, which didn't go down with Casey, and caused tension between Will and Jessie.

The next day, a number of Islanders in various chats questioned Jessie's intentions in the villa, with a few wondering if she was "playing a game".

Olivia Hawkins, Lana Jenkins and newcomer Rosie Seabrook had spoken about it, as had Maxwell and Olivia, whilst Casey also questioned Jessie, as he said that it was awkward for him being best friends with Will, who he said is "madly in love" with her.

Maxwell later pulled Casey for a chat to discuss his feelings about Jessie. As they talk, Maxwell says: “When it was the Casa recoupling and Jessie came back and realised Will was single and she started crying the entire time I was looking for a tear and I couldn’t find a tear.”

Casey then told the rest of the group, and it all blew up as Claudia Fogarty and Will backed Jessie, with will fuming that people were talking about her behind her back.

A number of the show's viewers have also expressed their doubt about whether or not Jessie is genuine, as they took to Twitter to comment.

One person wrote: "Me before Casa Amor: Jessie is not that into Will. Me during casa amor: Awhh I hope Jessie and will win. Me after casa amor: Jessie is fake #loveIsland."

A second person tweeted: "Sorry I don’t believe Jessie. Not buying it, she’s not really into Will #loveisland."
