Love Islander unveils ‘weird’ secret room that ITV viewers never see on camera

Love Island's Priya Gopaldas has lifted the lid on a secret room inside the ITV villa.

The stunning bombshell entered the villa last year and shared how there is another toilet the Islanders use when the main villa is closed.

Priya exclusively told the Daily Star: "I remember that when they shut the villa you can't go in but if you need to the bathroom you can.

"It's really weird you have to walk through the beach hut to get to the other loo, and so you see people who have gone into the beach hut room and you're like 'ooh, I wonder what they're talking about.'"

She also revealed the secret sum that the Islanders get paid for starring on the show.

Talking about the show's leaving process, Priya explained: “We stayed in another villa for about a week and during that week, we would then get our phones back and we’d get the debrief, a social media debrief. We got some training for social media and managing your bank account, things like that, then we appeared on the live Aftersun show.”

“It was probably quite useful actually because I’ve actually had no training, I only knew how to take out student finance, but apart from that, I had no idea how to manage money or anything like that. So, it was useful.”

We also asked Priya about the fee the Islanders were paid in her series.

The beauty said: "Yeah I can't quite remember the amount but I think it was probably £200-£250 maybe a week.

"I didn't realise, it was in the contract you signed but I didn't even think about getting paid after the show.

"I was surprised when I got it and I felt like I didn't really deserve to be paid for spending a summer in a villa so I ended up donating that money to the NHS as obviously it was during Covid so it was important that I gave back to them."

Since leaving the villa, Priya has teamed up with alternative meat brand Quorn and is running the Royal Parks Half Marathon later this year.

Quorn is the marathon’s “official sustainable protein partner” and they want to help support nutrition on the race day, which will be held on Sunday 9th October.

Priya discussed her partnership with Quorn and said that she is “really excited” to be an ambassador for the brand.
