Love Islands Casey and Rosie are dumped from villa as just 5 couples remain with days left before final

Casey O’Gorman and Rosie Seabrook have been dumped from the Love Island villa following a public vote.

Love Island viewers were given the chance to vote for their favourite couples at the end of Monday night’s episode.

Fans were only given 15 minutes, however, to save their favourite pair.

Casey and Rosie sparked up a romance a couple of weeks ago after she entered the villa as a new bombshell alongside Keanan Brand.

While Casey, 26, was coupled up with Claudia Fogarty at the time of her arrival, the pair soon started getting to know one another with Rosie, 24, going on to choose Casey to couple up with, leaving Claudia, 28, to choose Keanan.

The duo continued to get to know one another throughout their time in the villa, but hit a rough patch after fellow Islander Ron Hall appeared to stir the pot between them.

They reconciled their differences, but have now been dumped from villa after another brutal exit.

Speaking after their departure, Casey said he was in "shock", while Rosie told the girls that while she was "sad to leave" she was happy to have had her time in the villa.

Addressing the camera, Casey went on to label himself as "gutted" but was happy to leaving the villa with new love interest Rosie.

Tonight’s dumping comes almost a week since the last one, which saw Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda voted off the show, before they then went on to pick Claudia and Keanan to follow suit.

As the finale looms closer, Tom Clare and Samie Elishi are currently being eyed as favourites to win.

According to BetVictor, the odds that Samie and Tom will prove successful currently stand at 6/4.

They have some close competition though as Jessie Wynter and Will Young ’s odds are also 6/4.

Meanwhile, Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins current odds stand at 5/1 chance of winning the show, while Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan's are 4/1.

The most unlikely duo to be crowned this year’s winners are Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, whose odds stand at 100/1.

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
