Love Island’s Charlie admits he would’ve picked Tasha if he had ‘one more day’

Posh newcomer Charlie Radnedge, 26, has lived up to his Love Island bombshell title a bit too late after admitting he would've coupled up with Tasha Ghouri if he'd had the chance.

On Love Island: The Morning After podcast with Kem Centinay and Arielle Free, Charlie and fellow dumpee Antigoni Buxton, 23, discussed their short but sweet time on the show.

When Charlie entered the villa, a then-single Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Tasha, who is coupled up with Andrew Le Page, expressed interest in the estate agent from London.

Whilst Ekin-Su, 27, cracked on with Charlie, Tasha, 23, pulled Andrew for a chat to let him know that she was more than willing to get to know the new bombshell, but this move was slammed by fans who claimed she had been "fake".

At the recoupling, Charlie chose Ekin-Su but he has revealed on the podcast that if he had had more time, things could've been different.

He said: "Tasha said she found me intriguing and that was about it, but I could tell she was vibing with me.

"If I had one more day to suss the situation I think I may have been swayed her way."

Kem, Love Island's 2017 winner and Love Island: The Morning After host, related to Charlie's issue, adding: "When you're put under that time scale it’s hard to make decisions that quick."

When Andrew chose to recouple with Tasha despite her openness to getting to know Charlie, islanders Dami Hope, 26, and Luca Bish, 23, expressed disappointment in pal Andrew's decision, shaking their heads, which upset Tasha.

Charlie admitted that because of this, he and and Tasha felt pressured to avoid getting to know each other.

"She got quite a bit of stick from the boys for entertaining me and I think after that she felt bad and made our interactions a bit more pressured."

After a public vote determined the three least compatible couples in the villa, islanders had to dump a boy out of Charlie, Andrew and Jay Younger, 28, and a girl out of Antigoni, Tasha and Danica Taylor, 21.

Charlie and Antigoni were chosen to leave the villa.

Looking back, Charlie said he enjoyed his experience on the reality show, but if things had been different, he believes he could've had a chance with the model and dancer.

"Maybe if I had recoupled with Tasha from the start and we had been in the same bed and it had been a definite thing, things might have gone a different way but it’s hard to say."

Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
