Love Island's Demi Jones goes braless in skintight gym gear as she reveals 1.5 stone weight loss | The Sun

LOVE Island star Demi Jones has revealed her weight loss in a hot pink leotard after beating thyroid cancer.

Demi, 24 – who shot to fame on the first winter Love Island in 2020 – was diagnosed with the disease in 2021.

Last year, Demi candidly told The Sun about her weight gain and "horrific mood swings" since her illness struck.

Now she is in complete remission and building on her all-clear with trips to the gym.

The star captured herself in the trendy one-piece as she stood on an exercise mat on the gym floor.

She had pulled her flame-haired locks into a high ponytail and wore matching pink trainers.

The star has previously celebrated her cancer remission on her social media page.

Back in April 2021 Demi broke down in tears as she revealed that she had found a lump.

She had to undergo emergency surgery to have the potentially cancerous lump that was the size of a gold-ball removed from her neck, and was later told that she had cancer.

Demi was only diagnosed following months of delayed appointments due to the pandemic and after pushing doctors for further tests.

After a year-long battle, she has now been told she is cancer free and gave The Sun update on how she's been feeling.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun at the No7 Pro Derm Scan launch party, Demi said: "I got the all-clear before Christmas [2022] …

"I think I’m just learning to adapt with my body and the hormones.

"I’ve got really bad mood swings, my weight is fluctuating, I’m trying to balance it.

"The Full Monty was huge because everyone had gone through a similar thing or knew someone and it was really reassuring."
