Love Island's Ella Barnes was left feeling “disrespected at highest level” after her ex Mitchel Taylor reunited with his old Love Island flame Abi Moores.
After a turbulent journey on Love Island, Abi and Mitch were spotted looking cosy as they attended The Sun's Who Cares Wins Awards on Tuesday, 19 September. The duo smiled for pictures and posed with their arms wrapped around one another. Abi donned a stunning floor-length gold sparkly dress, while Mitch cut a smart figure in a blue three-piece suit.
A source has claimed to The Sun that, although Mitch insisted he and Ella broke up on good terms, Ella is not happy.
The source said: “Ella has been nothing but respectful to Mitch after their breakup and hasn’t been public about their relationship on any platform. To see this on social media is just pure disrespect at the highest level”.
OK! has contacted Ella’s representatives for comment.
Abi coupled up with Mitch in the villa during Casa Amour but his head was turned when Ella B arrived as one of the last bombshells of the series.
Abi then recoupled with Scott van der Sluis who quickly went on to appear on the US version of the show.
Just weeks after leaving the Love Island villa, Mitch and Ella confirmed they had broken up in an emotional statement posted to their social media.
Ella wrote on her Instagram stories: "Hi guys, Just wanted to come on here and keep you all updated, as you deserve to know as I wouldn't be where I am without you. Unfortunately myself and Mitch have decided to end our relationship. I really wanted things to work out and I'm gutted that our journey has come to an end."
Ella continued: "I wish Mitch all the best and hope he finds his happiness. It's time for both of us to start a new chapter.
"Thank you so much for all the love and support, it means the world to me. Lots of love, Ella xx”.
Mitch also shared a statement with his followers in the wake of his recent split with Ella, and gave fans an insight as to why they have gone their separate ways.
The islander penned: "Morning everyone, as you have most likely seen Ella's post sadly our relationship has come to an end. We had no intentions of ending, but with our busy life's at this moment and living the other side of the country made it extreamly hard for it to work."
Mitch continued: "I wish Ella nothing but the best as she is a lovely girl and deserves the world".
