Love Island stars Will Young and Jessie Wynter could make their relationship work outside of the villa – but they could be in trouble they're forced to try long-distance.

Heart Bingo’s relationship expert and co-founder of dating site So Syncd, Louella Alderson, gave Daily Star her exclusive insight on the Love Island couples following the brutal Casa Amor recoupling on Thursday night (February 16).

Farmer Will and Aussie bombshell Jessie have become one of the strongest couples on this year's winter series, but their romance appeared to be on the rocks when Will admitted he was unfaithful to her in Casa Amor.

Jessie said she'd been completely loyal to him despite the efforts of the bombshell boys, but Will revealed he'd not been quite as good as he'd kissed Layla.

The TikTok star broke down in tears over his actions and although Jessie reassured him that it was "fine", she admitted: "I really didn't think you would have done that."

Louella reckons Will and Jessie can survive the Casa Amor drama and will come out "stronger" if they can work through it.

"I think Jessie will forgive Will," she said. "They hadn't defined themselves as exclusive yet, even though their relationship had been heading in that direction.

"While Will didn't technically cheat on Jessie, his actions were still hurtful and it will take some time for Jessie to process her emotions. However, if Will can really show he is sorry and that he won't do it again, then I think it's possible they could move forward together."

The expert added: "It's a tricky situation to navigate, but I think they'll come out stronger than before if they can work through it. They are both more confident in their feelings for each other now."

Louella went on to predict the pair could make things work outside of the villa – but Jessie would need to move from Australia to London like she said she would.

"If she had to return to Australia, it would be tricky to go from spending every day together to having a long-distance relationship," she said.

"They would need more time to get to know each other on a deeper level outside of the villa first."
