Love Islands Paige sets record straight as villa grill her about steamy Jacques moment

Paige had to defend herself from an avid grilling on Tuesday night's episode of Love Island after things got steamy with her partner Jacques.

The first part of Tuesday's show ended with Paige and Jacques kissing before going under the duvet, catching the eye of fellow islander Ekin-Su.

She noticed a rustling of a duvet and looked around to see the pair under the covers – before turning around to her own partner, Jay, with a shocked expression.

After discussing both Amber and Ikenna leaving the villa at the start of the next day, Ekin-Su was quick to grill Paige over what actually went on in the show.

Ekin-Su started off by saying: "I saw you, I woke up, looked to my right and saw a massive tent in the bed. What was going on?

Indiyah then jumped in with: "Was that the 'beauty salon'?"

But unfazed by being in the firing line, Paige was quick to defend herself, saying: "No absolutely not, no beauty salon treatments last night, girls, come on, keeping it classy."

Unhappy with Paige's answer, Ekin-Su again asked: "What was the tent all about?"

But refusing to say more about what went on, Paige replied: "It was just a few, like, bedtime kisses."

However, over in the garden, the boys were just as quick to press Jacques about his bedroom antics.

Dami started the conversation by asking him: "Did you seal the deal yesterday?"

But Jacques gave little away, other than saying he was "so nervous" about making a move on Paige.

He said: "Nah mate, it was a long time coming – I feel like, for the both of us to be honest, I wanted it to be a moment for us two, you know what I mean?

"Before it I was like a little kid, mate, I was sh***ing myself. I was so nervous, mate."

Then the show cut to Paige speaking to camera, where she said: "I had such a good night with Jacques, so yeah, I'm happy this morning. For me, personally, the next guy could walk in, 10/10, be my type, but I'm not even interested really in wanting to get to know him.

"I feel what I already have with Jacques is more than enough, more than enough."

The pair's relationship escalated further on Tuesday's show, with Paige and Jacques going into the infamous Hideaway for some alone time later in the episode.
