Teddy Soares will stay "faithful" to Faye Winter when it comes to Love Island 's huge Casa Amor twist, his friend has insisted.

The 26 year old is currently partnered up with Faye, also 26, on the hit ITV2 dating show, and will no doubt soon be headed to the infamous second villa where six new girls will attempt to turn the boys' heads.

Equally, six new boys will descend on the main villa in an attempt to steal the girls from the original boys before the epic stick or twist recoupling ceremony.

But a pal of the senior financial consultant have assured fans of the couple that Teddy will not stray during his time in the second villa.

The friend in charge of his Instagram account while he's in the villa took part in a Q&A session where someone asked if the hunk was faithful.

The reply read: "Coming from someone who knows him well, yes he is," alongside a tick emoji.

When a second asked if Teddy could stray during his time at Casa Amor, the friend replied: "It would be hard for anyone to beat the chemistry Teddy and Faye have had so far."

Another viewer asked Teddy's friend his opinion on Faye, to which he responded: "Eccentric, pretty and personable – she is definitely not fake!"

Their comments come after Faye's lookalike sister said that her sibling and Teddy are a "good power couple" in the villa.

Jo, 29, appeared on the ITV2 dating show's spin-off series Aftersun with Faye's friend Tia on Sunday night to discuss the lettings manager's time on the show so far.

Host Laura Whitmore asked: "How is it watching your sister on Love Island?"

To which Jo admitted: "It's crazy the only way that I can see my little sister is turning on the TV at 9pm, which is so bizarre.

"Because I do speak to her all the time and see her all the time. I miss her terribly but I'm so glad to see her enjoying herself. It's lovely."

Speaking of Teddy, she continued: "Faye needs someone who will keep her on her toes but will tell her to buck up her ideas or to keep calm or shut up…

"She definitely needs that, her heart is in the right place and they're a good power couple, I hope."
