Lucy Fallon reveals 'traumatising' miscarriage and painful birth that left her 'looking like a crime scene' | The Sun

LUCY Fallon opened up about her 'traumatising' miscarriage and painful birth that left her 'looking like a crime scene' and covered in blood.

The former Coronation Street actress, 27, and footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson, 25, welcomed their baby boy into the world on 30th January 2023.

But before falling pregnant with her son Sonny Jude, the soap star suffered from a miscarriage.

Talking to OK! about the heartbreaking experience, Lucy said: "I had pregnancy symptoms and felt really unwell. There were no signs I’d had a miscarriage, and we assumed everything was going to be fine, which made it more of a shock when they said I’d miscarried.

“But even though it was an awful time, if we hadn’t gone through the miscarriage, we wouldn’t have Sonny now.

"It kind of feels like it was all meant to be because if it hadn’t happened, he wouldn’t be him.

“If I could go back, I’d tell myself it’s all going to work out how it’s meant to and, in a year’s time, you’ll feel so much better."

Lucy also opened up about her birth experience, which lasted over 24 hours.

The actress was given an epidural and put on a hormone drip to help, but Sonny's head kept going back in between contractions.

She welcomed Sonny into the world with the help of a ventouse and had to have stitching.
