MARRIED At First Sight star Peggy has revealed she was rushed to hospital while filming the show after suffering an extreme allergic reaction.

The 32-year-old, who married Georges on the show, told how she struggled living in the apartments because of how her body reacted.


She explained: “I had the worst allergy to dust, which I didn't realise I had until moving into the apartments.

“We were right by Wembley, where they cut the grass three times a day and I had a pollen allergy. So my eyes were swelling up every morning.

“I was in and out of hospital several times on antibiotics, steroids. I had to put makeup on my eyes and I couldn't even see my lash line and I think it's an element of stress as well.”

Peggy has had a difficult time during the process and broke down in tears in front of the group as the confronted her husband.

She said her husband needed constant guidance and reassurance in their relationship and the pressure is taking its toll.

And the French hunk said he wanted to walk away from filming when he and Peggy butted heads during the show.

He told The Sun: “I thought I can’t do this she’s way too difficult and doesn’t want to listen, she doesn’t understand me or nothing is good enough.”

Georges added: “I was bending over backwards. If you give me feedback I’ll work on it and let me know where I’m going wrong I’ll fix it.

“But at times I’d be sat there thinking is this for me? I literally couldn’t do anything right.

“She’s great to look at but she’s after a different calibre of man. She’s very old school and I’m very much new school and old school. At times I was like this girl is born in the wrong era. I was definitely kept on my toes.”
