‘Married At First Sight’s Ella and JJ aren’t genuine – they’re only in it for fame’

Married At First Sight stars Ella and JJ are set to cause even more explosive drama, with the pair set to cheat on their partners and re-enter the experiment as a couple.

There was carnage on the latest instalment of the E4 dating show on Thursday, 19 October, as Nathanial and Ella has an explosive dinner party argument in front of the rest of the group.

Ella and JJ then announced that they had feelings for each other, with Ella storming out, saying "Take me out of here now, I'm f***ing done," following her argument with Nathanial.

Meanwhile Nathanial said, "Guys, I'm leaving now, I've lost myself in the whole of this storm. Bye, I'm gone," leaving the whole room stunned. JJ's wife Bianca was left feeling gutted and began to sob – before she later called them both "f***ing liars."

Ella had earlier been struggling without physical intimacy in her platonic coupling with husband Nathanial, but things changed at a spa day when JJ and Ella said they fancied each other.

Now a relationship expert has now exclusively told OK! hat the pair's sudden re-introduction into the experiment could be showing that they're "in it for fame" rather than "true love".

Louella Alderson, the co-founder of the SoSyncd dating app, also believes that Ella could also be prepared to overlook any "red flags" from JJ, who ditched his new wife Bianca in favour of the Midlands gal, as a result of her determination to find a real connection.

"It's clear that the sexual tension and chemistry are what brought Ella and JJ together, which is something they were both lacking in their current marriages," Louella from SoSyncd told us.

"However, there is a danger that Ella was pleased to be wanted by someone after feeling so rejected by Nathanial on a physical intimacy level.

"It's possible that Ella is jumping at the opportunity to be with someone who is showing interest physically, and she may overlook red flags and compatibility issues in the process.

"JJ has shown himself to be completely focused on physical attraction and didn't display any interest in getting to know Bianca, his previous partner, on a deeper level because she wasn't his usual type," Louella continued.

"This could indicate that JJ is more interested in superficial qualities that Ella brings to the table rather than genuine connection and compatibility.

"Re-entering the experiment as a couple also raises the question of how genuine their interest in each other is and whether they are in the experiment for fame or true love."

The dating app boss went on to say that JJ's emphasis on looks meant that he "wrote Bianca off" from the beginning due to the fact she wasn't his usual type.

"His shallow approach ultimately meant he didn't give their relationship a fair chance. However, this approach to dating generally, particularly on a show like MAFS, may not lead to a successful and lasting relationship with Ella, either," the expert explained.

While Nathanial and Ella were likely to be one of the "least compatible couples", especially because of Nathanial's focus on "authenticity" and disappointment in Ella's "exaggerated" actions for the cameras, the pair connected on an emotional level throughout the experiment instead, she explained.

We already know that the star left the experiment, and now we know he chose to do so after discovering Ella had been flirting with JJ. Ella recently exclusively told OK! that a mystery contestant had given her "the confidence she needed".

Louella continued to say that JJ and Ella are showing "better initial chemistry" so far, with the physical attraction for each other sky-high, but she's concerned that the pair's focus on "superficial qualities" will hinder their "lasting success" in the experiment.

Time will tell if Ella made the right decision as the series continues its explosive twists turns.
