MARTIN Roberts has posted an emotional video to fans in the wake of his father's death after being flooded with support.

The Homes Under the Hammer star announced the sad passing of his dad on Thursday in a heart-breaking video.


Martin, 59, told his followers that his father had died the day before aged 90, and asked for their support during such a difficult time.

His fans gave him just what he needed, and today Martin shared another video thanking them for their kindness.

He captioned the footage: "A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart for your condolences, kind words and love.

"I said I consider you my friends, and you’ve shown the true meaning of friendship. It’s meant the absolute world to me and helped more than you will ever know."

In the video, the emotional star could be seen standing in some woodland while out walking his dogs.

He said: "Nature to me is my comfort blanket but I have to say I'm humbled and so thankful to everybody who has taken the time and trouble to send me messages.

"I genuinely can't tell you how much of a difference it's made, you've just gone out of your way and I will read every single one of them, I'll respond to as many of them as I can.

"But know that I'm reading them all and they have warmed my heart and they are making such a difference at this time."

He continued: "I just want to share something with you, I'm not sure if you're into this kind of stuff but they sometimes say that feathers, white feathers, are sort of message from the angels."

As he pointed the camera at the ground he said: "I'm just walking the dogs and there's a feather there, and another there and there's another feather there, and there's two more feathers there.

"I've never seen this many white feathers in one place, so along with your kind wishes, that's really special right? So much love."
