Matt Goss has revealed that he felt "uncomfortable" in the Strictly Come Dancing "environment," as he reflected the difficulties he faced while appearing on the show.
The music icon was speaking following the recording of new song The Beautiful Unknown with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, just a day after his Strictly elimination.
Matt and professional dance partner Nadiya Bychkova were the third pair to leave the competition, after the judges chose to keep Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Matt has since opened up about his experience of taking part in Strictly, and some of the "difficulties" he faced, as he prepares to make a bid for Christmas number one with The Beautiful Unknown.
He said: "I love elevating an audience and going out and really lifting people's spirits.
"I've mastered that, but when it comes to Strictly, I felt very reserved, and somewhat uncomfortable in the environment."
Talking about some of the challenges he faced during his time on the programme, Matt explained: "I think there's a couple of things.
"There was an element of frustration, because I definitely know how to move and I definitely am an entertainer. I definitely know how to elevate an audience, but when you're being told to move a certain way…it was very difficult.
"But what was equally difficult for me, was the environment."
Speaking about his time on Strictly, he reflected on the positive experiences he gained from the series too, saying: "I wanted to digest the experience, and then acclimate myself and then if I was able to stay in longer.
"The ironic thing – I was starting to open myself up in the last week.
"I just think, it's ok, I got what I needed out of it and I'm more aware of my posture, which is good. I've got Poland Syndrome and that's out there now, and I think that's good that that's out there.
"I'm going be working with some charities to talk to the kids about Poland Syndrome. Anything I can do, I want to contribute."
Following his Strictly exit, Matt also thanked fans for their support, adding: "To get such an outpouring of love, absolutely thousands and thousands of messages from people, to feel very uplifted like that. The British public made me feel very safe.
"Then to wake up in the morning and put a microphone in my hand and sing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra…honestly, a breathtaking experience. Much needed."
Matt now wants to have the Christmas number one with his new record, saying: "I'd love to have the Christmas number one and have people connect with this beautiful piece of music," Matt continued.
"What it means. Raise a glass to The Beautiful Unknown. Come with me on this journey. Trust me, my universe is a lot of fun."
