Pointless fans plead with show bosses as ANOTHER guest host drafted in | The Sun

POINTLESS fans are calling on the show's producers as another guest host gets drafted in the show replacing original host, Richard Oseman.

Back in April, Richard announced that he was leaving his co-presenter role on Pointless to focus on his hugely successful Thursday Murder Club book series and other projects.

Since then, Steven Mangan is one of the several celebrities who have joined the line-up to fulfill the empty seat left by Richard.

The former Coronation Street star replaced Richard, who personally praised the star as his guest replacement.

He has already become a favourite among fans, within just one episode of starring in the hot seat, so much that viewers at home are calling for him to become a permanent fixture once all of the celebrity guests have made their debut.

Fans of the show took to Twitter asking the producer's to keep Steven Mangan as the host, with one writing: " Still miss Richard hosting but I think Steven Mangan is a good fit on Pointless. He has a good rapport with Alexander and natural chemistry. Much prefer him to Sally."
