Max George pays an emotional tribute to Tom Parker on Tipping Point
Max George dedicated his win on Tipping Point Lucky Stars to his former bandmate Tom Parker.
The Wanted star said Tom had always wanted to appear on the ITV quiz show, but never got to fulfil his wish.
After Max knocked Linda Robson and Jess Phillips to the final, he attempted to win the £20,000 jackpot for his chosen charity.
However, despite coming close, the singer decided to stick with his winnings of £6,900.
Taking to Ben Shephard after his win, Max said: “I am happy with that. That was the right decision.”

“That was the right decision,” Ben agreed as he asked: “It’s going to a really special charity, can you share who it is going to?”
“It is going to the Brain Tumour Charity,” the singer emotionally replied.
“My very, very close friend passed, Tom away recently from a brain tumour, and they’re at the forefront of brain tumour research.”
Turning to Ben, Max said: “And also, Ben I want to say thank you to you because I asked you a while ago if we could get Tom on the show, and that’s why I’m here today.”
