Missing child horror in Emmerdale as Clemmie disappears from Home Farm

There's panic in Emmerdale as Clemmie goes missing from Home Farm, after she finds out about Dawn Taylor's pregnancy news.

Dawn (Olivia Bromley) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) got married in 2022, and they went on to adopt Clemmie (Mabel Addison), who's mother, Beth, passed away.

They decided to adopt Clemmie after Dawn discovered that her ex-partner Alex Moore was Clemmie's biological father.

Their family looks to be complete as Dawn and Billy discover that she is pregnant – and later find out she's much further along in her pregnancy than they originally thought.

On Clemmie's birthday, they plan to break the news to her after giving her a special birthday present, but things take a melancholy turn as Clemmie is subdued over the death of her mum, telling them that a present won't bring her back.

Emmerdale bad boy Nicky Mulligan (Lewis Cope) throws things further into chaos when he turns up with a birthday card for Clemmie, before being told to leave by Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).

It's then revealed that Dawn is pregnant – but not by Dawn or Billy – and little Clemmie is floored by the news.

Her adoptive parents struggle to calm her down, as she is convinced that the new baby means she will be pushed out of the family.

The little girl lashes out and pushes a dining stool into Dawn's stomach, causing Dawn to collapse, and as the realisation of what she's done hits Clemmie.

She then hides, before letting herself out of the back door of Home Farm, leading to a mad panic for the adults to try and locate her.

Last year, Emmerdale fans were stunned by the Dales drama which saw Leyla Harding (played by Roxy Shahidi) get shot by the evil Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) who then appeared to be killed by the vengeful Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).

Speaking to OK!, about the drama, Olivia Bromley, who plays Dawn, said: "The hatred towards Meena is intense! In the supermarket some people stop me and say, 'Watch out for that Meena.' I’ve also had so many people say they’re rooting for Billy and Dawn which I didn’t expect.'

Meanwhile, at a press conference with OK! and other media outlets, Meena actress Paige admitted that she does what she can to steer clear of social media.

"I always avoid any comments on Emmerdale and any social media things because I think, you know, people can be quite angry sometimes," Paige laughed.

She continued: "The comments that I've received have always been nice and people tell me they've been enjoying Meena.
