My Mum, Your Dad star returns to studies just weeks after show ends

Monique PayneeandyfromMy Mum, Your Dadhas returned to her normal routine just days after the hit ITV show came to an end.

The 50 year old, who was recently forced to deny that she is in a relationship with her co-star following some love triangle drama on the show, shared a video with her followers as she attended a day at university.

Monique has been attending university three days a week alongside her job as a therapist and showed her followers what a day in her life as a student involves.

In the video, Monique videoed herself as she walked into Middlesex University in London, sat in a lecture for an hour, and then went out for some well-deserved lunch with her friends. There also appeared to be a few cheeky cocktails on the table.

During the show, Monique had a complicated journey as she was caught up in some love triangle drama. She found a spark with Martin Makepeace, who realised that he was also attracted to Tollulah.

Martin insisted that his feelings for Monique were genuine and that he was “physically attracted” to her.

He told Monique’s daughter Taiya on the show: “That one chat where you bond and see what's happening… And then me and your mum had a conversation and we just clicked within five minutes. It all kinda fell into place and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't physically attracted to her because I am as that's very important to me, too.”

He and Monique decided during the finale to just be friends, following their turbulent journey throughout the show.

Since the show ended, Monique shared a picture with Clayton Byfield and wrote: “@claytonbyfield you are another rib in my cage,” before adding three laughing emojis.

Fans took to her comments with both compliments and confusion, as the pair hadn’t been paired together in the series. “Omg are you two together??” asked one person. Another wrote: “These 2 would be a great match !”

Despite fans' joy at Monique and Clay potentially being together, Monique called him the “best human” and said that they were just good pals. “Aww,” she wrote with a heart face emoji, “we are not together but he is the absolute best hooman !”

Clayton replied to her comment and said: “Awe thank you Monique xx.”
