Nadine Dorries has given her support to fellow politician Nigel Farage as he prepares for his I'm A Celebrity debut.
Dorries, 66, was a guest on ITV morning show Good Morning Britain, hosted by Ed Balls and Susanna Reid on Tuesday (November 14). While on the show, the former Tory minister was asked what she thought about the controversial GB News presenter going into the jungle.
"You were the trailblazer for politicians going into I'm A Celebrity, munching on unmentionables," Susanna remarked before asking about Nigel's chances on the reality show. Nadine quickly threw her backing behind Farage, exclaiming: "Go Nigel!"

Nadine is no stranger to the jungle, having been the first politician to join the line-up for the ITV show back in 2012. Her time on the show was controversial and she eventually left the programme after being the first campmate to be voted out.
Reid then asked whether Nigel was doing the show to appeal to a new host of constituents who would be willing to vote for him in a general election. But Nadine shut the allegations down as she stated: "Nigel Farage's power base is Reform UK, and I think that's probably what he's doing this for – to give them a boost."
After dramatically leaving UKIP in the aftermath of the 2015 general election, Nigel has been in and out of the political sphere. He soon set up the Brexit Party which won a number of seats in the European Parliament, before rebranding itself to Reform UK.
Nadine was then asked whether the controversial figure would come out of the jungle more popular than when he went in. Dorries was quick to respond: "I think Nigel will do very, very well. He's got the determination, he's got the personality – I think he'll do very well on I'm A Celebrity."
Earlier on in the interview, Susanna and Nadine butted heads as the TalkTV host plugged her new book The Plot, which investigates the "character assassination" of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson. In the book, Nadine speaks to former ministers, Chancellors and cabinet members as she chronicles the outlandish politician's rise and fall from power.
But Susanna, who had described the book as "a real page turner", challenged Nadine on her assertions that Boris had been surrounded by MPs who had wanted him out of No10. Reid later branded the position as "nonsense that [Boris] did not know what was going on" about Partygate.
Nadine later went on to call for a general election after a series of controversies and spats between politicians and civil servants. The most recent debacle came over last weekend as former Home Secretary Suella Braverman was sacked from her role for branding homelessness as "a lifestyle choice", as well as accusing police of being biased in protecting pro-Palestinian marches.
Good Morning Britain airs every weekday at 6am on ITV1 and ITVX.
