The new pictures show how the makers of the hit series have captured that moment in August of 1997 perfectly as the character is seen wearing the iconic pink one-piece swimsuit. Following their holiday the couple of course travelled to Paris where they stayed at his father's hotel, The Ritz.

Following dinner at the establishment, the pair were pursued by foreign photographers on motorcycles through the streets of Paris which culminated in the tragic car crash in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel.

Prince Charles was dressed in his iconic kilt, jumper and shirt combo whilst the young princes as they hiked across the highlands. In other snaps we also see their mother enjoying the company of her children in a fuchsia ensemble as she enjoyed her holiday with her sons.

The Peter Morgan created series is set to depict the moments leading up to the death of Diana, as well as the intense aftermath of her tragic passing as the country was in mourning. We will also see Her Late Majesty The Queen's relationship with the new Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Netflix announced the series will be split into two halves as the second part will air later in the year just before Christmas.
