New flashforward clue may have confirmed Christmas murder victim in EastEnders

Following the episode of EastEnders that confirmed someone will die this Christmas, and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) will all be there when the dead body is discovered, we’re keeping an eye on every single scene in future episodes, fully aware further clues may drop that relate to who is going to be killed.

After Thursday’s (April 13) edition of the BBC One soap, we’ve turned our suspicions to Nish (Navin Chowdhry), who was searching for answers after realising only one room was booked for Suki and Eve’s (Heather Peace) recent trip to Leeds.

We know that Suki and Eve made good use of that single room as they used time in Leeds as a way for them to develop a stronger relationship.

What they didn’t count on, however, was Nish getting his hands on the booking confirmations.

He was curious in tonight’s episode and confronted Suki about it. Initially, she was fearful, but then decided to head to the Slater household so Eve could tell Nish the ‘truth’.

Eve ended up telling Nish that Suki slept in the room on her own, because she went off to catch up with an old flame.

Saved by her beloved, Suki headed home and started to plant an idea in Nish’s mind, telling him their relationship is at risk of becoming toxic, and that he might be happier on his own.

This was done in the hope Nish would agree with Suki, they’d split up, and she could be happy with Eve – but it was never going to be that straightforward.

Nish entered the kitchen and told Suki it would kill him if they weren’t together and apologised for his behaviour towards her and Eve.

While Eve and Suki’s secret hasn’t been revealed just yet, soap history tells us they’re not going to sneak around forever – the truth always gets out in the end.

So, when Nish realises Suki doesn’t want to be with him, what will happen next?

And is this a sign as to who will die on Christmas Day?
