Nigel Farage’s ‘got something he’s proud of’ as he keeps stripping off in jungle

Former I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Sam Fox has shared her thoughts on Nigel Farage stripping off in the jungle.

The former glamour model and pop star took part in the gruelling ITV reality show back in 2009 and lasted 14 days in camp, ending in ninth place. 14 years later, she's given her verdict on the latest batch of contestants and one former politician has caught her attention – but no necessarily for the right reasons.

Fans have been left with their jaws on the floor as GB News presenter Nigel continues to strip completely naked while washing under the famous waterfall shower. He has already admitted that he wants to do the trials to make sure he gets "25 percent airtime" and Sam says he is "playing a game".

"The only one I've seen under the shower this year is Nigel. Don't tell me nobody else has gone under that shower. Why aren't we seeing anybody else? When I was in the jungle, we all showered in our bikinis and the men showered in swimming trunks. We nearly saw everything of Nigel the other day in the bath. He knows there's cameras there. My mum actually said to me 'Well obviously Nigel's got something there he's very proud of'.

Sam went on to point out that Nigel is keeping his cards close to his chest compared to his other campmates who have opened up during their stint in the Australian jungle. Sam said: "We don't really know Nigel's true personality. He's very camera aware, he knows what he's doing and playing a game.

"He's already admitted he wants the airtime. We don't know anything about him as a person really, he's keeping his guard up and not letting anything go. Let's see the real Nigel, he's still acting like a politician and being really careful on what he says and does in there."

It has been 14 years since Page 3 icon Sam slipped into her bikini for the famous jungle waterfall shower and she says she can remember her time in Australia "like it was yesterday". She revealed: "It was one of the best things I've ever done. I can't understand when people say, 'What made me sign up for this programme?' or not enjoy it because it's been on ITV for many years, it's one of the nation's favourite programmes and many celebrities, like me, we all follow it and love it so we know when we sign up for it, or should know, what we're signing up for.

"A great way to look at going in the jungle is to fight your fears and take away a wonderful experience which you will never be able to experience again in your life, just enjoy every moment. Although when you're in there the time goes slow, it's something you'll never forget in your life because it is wonderful.

"The first day when I went in, me and Gino D'ACampo [who ended up winning the series] got the first challenge. We both pulled the short straw, so I had to hold a spider in my mouth for 30 seconds. I think because it was the first day, and didn't have time to think about it, I did it with ease really.

"After that day I was ready for anything but the braver you are at the beginning, you won't get picked for the challenges. I was like 'pick me, pick me' the first week because you can get bored in the jungle.
